The Armored Range Rover: Luxury and security combined

An armored Toyota Range Rover developed by Harrow Security is rated B6 Level according to European Ballistic Standards CEN 1522/23 and CEN 1063. Our opaque armouring materials are rated FB6 Level and our transparent armouring materials are rated BR6 Level.

High quality bullet proof steel and glass reinforce all four sides of the passenger compartment, including the roof. The armouring is designed according to CEN1063 and CEN1522 to repel 7.62x51mm M80 Nato Ball ballistics (U.S. NIJ level III, CEN level FB6/BR6) and 5.56×45 SS109 ammunition (CEN level FB5/BR5 and FB6/BR6) at 0° angle of incidence, with a distance of 10 metres.

Opaque Areas of the Range Rover:

All opaque areas including the roof are protected against the following and all lesser weapons/ ammunitions at 90° impact angle in accordance with the above specifications.

Transparent Areas of the Range Rover:

All transparent areas are multi-layer and polycarbonate coated to protect against the following and all lesser weapons/ ammunitions at 90° impact angle in accordance with the above specifications.

• Calibre 5.56 x 45 mm, FJ/PB/SCP, M16 Colt
• Calibre 7.62 x 51 mm, FJ/PB/SC, (FN) “FAL” / “LAR” NATO rifle Floor (Enhanced Floor Protection)

The floor of the vehicle is designed to defeat the following:

• Two DM 51 hand grenade (German Norm) detonated simultaneously
• 1x HG85 (equivalent to M67 Grenade) under vehicle

In addition, the floor also offers protection against anti-personnel mines. Roof (Enhanced Roof Protection)

The Roof of the vehicle is designed to defeat the following:

• 2x DM51 Hand Grenade Placed directly on the roof
• 1x HG85 Hand Grenade (Equiv. to M67 Grenade) Placed directly on the roof
• 2x HG85 Hand Grenades (Equiv. to 2xM67 grenades) placed directly on the roof
